Scatec Solar (Oslo, Norway) and partners have signed 25-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for delivery of electricity from six solar photovoltaic (PV) plants totaling 400 MW with the Government of Egypt. U.S.) on April 18th, 2017 announced that the they will work together to install a 1 megawatt (MW), 4 megawatt-hour (MWh) grid-scale energy storage system supporting a hybrid solar and wind demonstration project, developed by ENGIE in Brazil. The calibration laboratory at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE (Freiburg, Germany) has achieved a best value: Photovoltaic modules can now be calibrated with an even higher measurement precision of 1.3 percent, ISE announced.
