PV Producer REC (Sandvika, Noway) on December 21st,2011 announced, that its modules were selected for a 60MW module supplier agreement with the German project developer GP JOULE (Reußenkoege) for solar power plant installations in France and Germany.

REC will supply 60MW Peak Energy series modules to be installed on a 20MW free field installation in Germany and on one 40MW installation near Bordeaux, France. The first delivery will take place already in December and the rest over the next six months.

GP JOULE, based in Northern Germany has extensive experience developing, financing and operating large ground mount installations.

“REC was selected as our module supplier because of the high quality of their modules and the reliability of the supplier combined with a strong value proposition which will help us to secure a solid return on the projects we are developing”, said Ove Petersen, CEO, GP JOULE.
