On January 23rd, 2012, Airline Hydraulics (Bensalem, Pennsylvania, U.S.) announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with PV Racking LLC (Southampton, Pennsylvania, U.S.), which designs, manufactures and distributes solar racking components used in roof and ground mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

New solar racking system eliminates clamps

The partnership will allow Airline Hydraulics to strengthen its product offering for the renewable energy market with the addition of PV Racking's revolutionary new solar racking system that eliminates the need for clamps and therefore is much easier to install, more secure and superior in appearance.

Airline Hydraulics will provide PV Racking with enhanced sales, marketing and logistical support. Airline Hydraulics is a regional distributor of fluid power and automation products.

"We are excited to enter into this partnership with PV Racking, as their innovative design for solar racking systems that can be installed with unsurpassed ease complements our engineered-solutions approach to meeting our customers' needs," Airline Hydraulics Chief Executive Officer Joseph A. Miceli stated.

"We are confident that the unique, patent-pending slide-in-place solar racking system that is exclusive to PV Racking's design will meet the growing market need for a fast and easy, yet secure and stable, system for the installation of solar panels."
