On January 19th, 2012, Indo-Spanish company Solsys Engineering (India) Pvt. Ltd. (Gurgaon, Haryana, India) announced that it finished 2011 with a strong growth in the number of megawatts (MW) installed worldwide and the start of a production plant in India.

In 2012, Solsys intends to increase solar photovoltaic (PV) sales up to 100 MW in India, and production capacity in Spain and India.



Solsys Screws to reduce foundation costs up to 40%

In addition, Solsys announced that it has set up a brand new production line for ground screws to support and accelerate solar farm construction. Using Solsys Screw instead of a concrete, foundation due to the company can reduce foundation costs up to 40%. The company’s screw design for each specific application is determined through detailed load analysis with support from its engineering team in Spain and India. Selection is made depending on soil analysis report & onsite testing, the company said.
