On February 13th, 2012, renewable energy holding company Principal Solar Inc. (PSI, Dallas, Texas, U.S.) announced that it has appointed J. Peter Lynch to its advisory board.

Lynch served as contributing editor for the "Photovoltaic Insider Report" for 17 years. He provides thought-leadership on a global basis to major energy companies, utilities and governments, the company states.

Lynch has served as a financial/technology consultant to a number of renewable energy companies, and currently spearheads the development of commercial scale solar projects in the Northeast U.S. In addition, he works with a number of scientific advisors and associates focused on identifying the next generation of renewable technologies.

“Peter brings an impressive track record for raising funds in support of companies from every sector of the renewable energy industry, including photovoltaics, solar thermal, wind and biomass,” Principal Solar CEO and Chairman Michael Gorton said.
