On February 16th, 2012, Schletter (Tucson, Arizona, U.S.) announced that it has introduced a new 2.5 kW FS Kit for residential and small commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) applications.

The FS System is used in some of the world’s largest, most robust ground mount installations. The new FS Kit utilizes the same quality system, but on a smaller scale, the company emphasizes.


First complete ground-mount system to meet UL standards

The FS Kit includes all the mounting hardware needed to install the mounting structure as well as value-added benefits including ETL Classified grounding to UL 2703/UL 1703 standards, PE stamped permitting package for most states with engineered performance meeting USB engineered to IBC 2006/2009 and the Ontario Building Code where applicable.

“The FS Kit is a direct result of customer feedback,” stated Ian McCollum, Schletter's director of inside-sales.

“When customers call before noon, the order will ship the same day. Add the engineering and drawing package and the customers will have a robust system quickly. The FS System is the first complete ground mount system to meet UL 2703 and UL 1703 standards, which is yet another benefit to this package.”
