On October 3rd, 2012, SolarMax Technology Inc. (City Of Industry, California, U.S.) announced that it has installed sold more than 600 residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in Southern California in the summer 2012.

"The high cost of cooling and powering a home in Southern California really grabs the attention of homeowners when they see their electric bills double and triple in the summer. We've installed a significant amount of solar panels in the Inland Empire this past summer, notably in Temecula, San Bernardino County, Palm Springs, City of Riverside and in Los Angeles and Orange Counties," SolarMax Technology Sales Manager Guillermo Santomauro stated.

Special program for Riverside County (California, U.S.) residents

"Going solar is easy nowadays; most options allow you to get solar panels for no money down, homeowners get to enjoy upfront savings the moment the system is turned on, and there is still a big 30% federal tax credit available," Santomauro stated.

"There's also a special program for Riverside County residents; the Home Energy Renovation Opportunity by the Western Riverside County of Governments. The HERO program offers tax deductible financing, low interest rates and payments through property taxes as well as no credit score requirement; it's like writing off your electric bill every year and paying less for power at the same time; solar pays you back faster than you think," Santomauro added.

SolarMax Technology is moving headquarters to Riverside

SolarMax Technology states that it is set to move its headquarters to a 165,000-square-foot building in Riverside, California, by the end of the year. The move will create directly and indirectly 1,600 jobs.
