On October 17th, 2012, SolarMax Technology Inc. (City of Industry, California, U.S.) announced that the ground breaking ceremony for the company's new headquarters in Riverside, California, will be held in November 2012. The ceremony is scheduled for November 5th, 2012, at 10 a.m.

 

Company announces creation of 1,600 jobs

The company plans to move to the 165,000-square-foot office and warehouse in Riverside by the end of the year. The company's move is set to create directly and indirectly 1,600 jobs.

SolarMax states that it is renovating the historic building and adding a solar rooftop. The building is set to also house other green businesses and services. The company plans to hire marketing, sales, office, and warehouse workers.
