JA Solar to launch 6-inch full-square mono PV module product line
JA Solar Holding Company Ltd. (Shanghai, China) has unveiled a new 6-inch full-square monocrystalline silicon solar photovoltaic (PV) module series, and will begin mass production of the new product offering this month.
The modules have received certification from TUV Rheinland (Köln, Germany), and offer a maximum efficiency of 16.82%. The company's 60-cell modules offer a mainstream power output of 270 watts.
"The 6-inch module series is another significant step in our efforts to produce industry-leading output at competitive cost levels," said JA Solar CEO Dr. Peng Fang. "The new modules' unparalleled output, outstanding conversion efficiency, and competitive cost make them a clear leader in the 60-cell format and an ideal solution for the burgeoning rooftop market."
JA Solar estimates that the new modules produce an accumulated output 4% higher than comparable models, as the most powerful 60-cell modules using P-type PV cells on the market.
