Sungrow Power Supply Company Ltd. (Hefei, China) has supplied inverters for 30 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants under construction by Aktor SA (Athens, Greece) in Greece.

Sungrow delivered 500 kW and 630 kW transformerless central inverters for the projects. Both models have been certified by TÜV and BDEW, which the company says is the result of high DC voltage, strong overload capacity and adaptability to high-low temperature shifts.

“We are very pleased to partner with Sungrow on the successful installation of our solar plants in Europe. Sungrow offers quality and cost efficient products and excellent service,” said Aktor head of Global Operations Aris Polychronopoulos.

“We definitely plan to continue our cooperation with Sungrow worldwide.”

Sungrow notes that it is the largest PV manufacturer in Asia and 15th largest globally, with 650 MW of inverters deployed in Europe by the end of 2012.
