Ichigo commences solar power production at 2.31 MW PV plant in Aomori prefecture, Japan

Ichigo Inc. (Tokyo, Japan) on October 17th, 2016 announced start of operations at the company’s thirty-first solar photovoltaic (PV) plant, the Ichigo Hamanaka Bokujo Kajibayashi ECO Power Plant, on former farmland in Aomori prefecture.

The 2.31 MW PV plant covers an area of 33,859 m2. The 9,436 PV modules installed are expected to produce 2,678,000 kWh of solar power annually – enough for 740 households.

The impact of the Ichigo Hamanaka Bokujo Kajibayashi ECO Power Plant has already been reflected in Ichigo’s FY17/2 consolidated earnings forecast, the company notes.
