Company Description

The TISO is now a Swiss test centre for photovoltaic modules. The Centre's activities relate to controlling quality, reliability through time, the efficiency of the most common PV modules on the international market and studying ways to characterise in standardised terms their energy efficiency. Each year, about 20 pairs of modules using different technologies are tested by exposing them for a year to real operating conditions at maximum power. TISO also has a Class A solar simulator AD IMPULSO which is able to measure the electrical characteristics of PV modules at Standard Conditions (1000 W/m2, 25 C) according to IEC Norms (60904-1).
