Chinese PV producer Phono Solar to supply German system integrator Sybac Solar with 500 MW of PV modules

On April 25th, 2012, Phono Solar (Nanjing, China), a producer of monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, announced that it has signed a 5-year supply agreement with SYBAC Solar AG.

Under the agreement, Phono Solar will supply 500 MW to SYBAC Solar for EUR 300m. The agreement was officially signed on April 24th, 2012, at Hannover Messe, Germany.

 

A clear signal to the German PV market

“This agreement gives a clear signal to the German PV market that despite insolvencies last month and continued uncertainty surrounding the future, there are still strong companies like SYBAC Solar AG, who, when partnered with strong suppliers such as Phono Solar, are able to develop their business successfully,” Phono Solar Vice President Roland Menken stated.
