On November 21st, 2012, Verengo Solar (Torrance, California, U.S.) announced that it has been named to the “Los Angeles Business Journal's” List of 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

The list recognizes companies with year-over-year revenue growth and a significant positive impact on Southern California's economy.

Strong residential solar business in California

"Ken Button and I couldn't be more pleased with this recognition by the ‘Los Angeles Business Journal’, as it validates the hard work of the Verengo team and the trust of our customers," Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Randy Bishop stated.

Bishop added: "The residential solar business has never been stronger than it is now in California. During the most recent quarter, a record 11,000 Californians signed up to install over 66 megawatts (MW) of solar power for their homes. These results are an indication of what the future holds for solar energy in California and what solar energy can mean to the entire U.S. economy with lower panel costs, affordable financing options, and an innovative and motivated solar work force committed to a clean energy future."
