ET Solar to launch 1,000V-DC PV modules at PV America East

ET Solar Group Corporation (Nanjing, China), has announced that it will introduce solar photovoltaic (PV) modules certified to 1,000V-DC at the PV America East trade show on February 5th-7th, 2013 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.

Both ET Solar's 60-cell and 72-cell multicrystalline PV modules have received Underwriters Laboratories (Northbrook, Illinois, US) certification by Electrical Testing Laboratories Inc.

"We are very happy to have obtained the 1000V DC UL certification from ETL that endorses our new modules designed for the US market," states ET Solar President and CEO Dennis She. "Offering tailormade and reliable products has always been our commitment to customers and this initiative is just another solid step to deliver it."

ET Solar notes that with the certification, these modules can be used in projects with system voltages up to 1000V-DC rather than 600V-DC, which it says can lower installation costs and offer improved system performance.
