Hergo Japan G.K., a subsidiary of Infrastrutture Group, selected by the Mega Solar Power Committee of Kumagaya Municipality, Saitama Prefecture, begins the construction of a 3.5 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Japan, Infrastrutture S.p.A. (Milano, Italy) announces.

“As the site is part of a complex flood control system that could be filled with rain water in case of exceptional weather conditions, the innovative PV panel mounting structures - as well as all electrical components - are elevated above the ground by 2-3 meters depending on the area”, said Francesco Rimbotti, CEO of Infrastrutture S.p.A.

The plant is scheduled to enter into operation in March 2017.
