The ISM Group and Hanwha Q CELLS GmbH (Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Germany), the German subsidiary of the world´s largest producer of solar cells Hanwha Q CELLS Co., Ltd. have commissioned a 4.5 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in the town of Eckolstaedt in the Saaleplatte district of Thuringia, Germany.

The ground-mounted system comprises 16,928 Q CELLS brand solar PV modules and will produce enough solar power for approximately 1,600 homes.

The project took the ISM Group from Bitterfeld just 3 months to develop, construct and grid connect. Hanwha Q CELLS, whose Technology & Quality HQ is located in Thalheim, in the district of Bitterfeld, supplied the solar PV modules for the farm.
